Despite security best practices, smart contracts may contain:

  • Logic errors or implementation bugs

  • Reentrancy vulnerabilities

  • Integer overflow/underflow issues

  • Access control failures

  • Economic attacks or manipulation vectors

  • Security audits do not guarantee bug-free code

3.3 Integration Risks

Vault strategies integrate with third-party protocols that may:

  • Change their APIs or behavior without notice

  • Contain vulnerabilities or be compromised

  • Become unavailable or cease operations

  • Implement protocol upgrades that break compatibility

  • Be subject to governance attacks or protocol failures

4. Developer Responsibilities

4.1 Security and Testing

As a vault developer, you are solely responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough security reviews and testing

  • Obtaining independent security audits before mainnet deployment

  • Implementing appropriate access controls and safety mechanisms

  • Monitoring and maintaining your deployed contracts

  • Responding to security incidents or vulnerabilities

4.2 Compliance and Legal

You must ensure your vault strategies comply with:

  • All applicable laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions

  • Securities laws and investment regulations where applicable

  • Anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements

  • Tax reporting and disclosure obligations

  • Consumer protection laws and fiduciary duties

4.3 User Protection

When building vault strategies, you must:

  • Implement appropriate risk management measures

  • Provide clear disclosure of risks, fees, and strategy mechanics

  • Ensure users can withdraw funds as promised

  • Act in the best interests of vault depositors

  • Maintain transparency about strategy performance and risks

5. Financial and Investment Disclaimers

5.1 No Financial Advice

Nothing in the SDK services constitutes:

  • Financial, investment, legal, or tax advice

  • Recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any assets

  • Investment analysis or portfolio recommendations

  • Regulatory or compliance guidance

  • Seek independent professional advice for all financial decisions

5.2 No Performance Guarantees

We make no representations about:

  • Expected returns or yields from vault strategies

  • Strategy performance or profitability

  • Market conditions or asset price movements

  • Liquidity availability or withdrawal timing

  • Past performance does not guarantee future results

5.3 High-Risk Activity Warning

Vault strategies and DeFi protocols involve significant risks:

  • Total Loss Risk: You may lose all deposited funds

  • Market Volatility: Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile

  • Liquidity Risk: Assets may become illiquid or difficult to withdraw
